Delayed Transmission [Feb. 13th, 2009|06:23 pm]
Since Em has moved in, I've been a bit uh, busy, so here is a run down of what's happened to me in the last month.

I've my retail job to focus on photography based work. I have now a promise of 3 jobs a week for the olympic work I'm doing, and I now teach at http://www.eyephotographicworkshops.com/ . This, combined with Em moving in has given me a bit of spare cash which, for me, is rare and is helping replenish my bank account after buying my new camera! However..

I've gone and got a new tripod. I'll take some snaps of it soon, needless to say it's amazing on a fantastic scale. Here is a brief picture of the leg/column angles:

Which means it can do this:

I've also got a new head for the tripod in the form of this piece of amazing:

it weighs 300g, and can hold a load of up to 10kg! It's a full ball head, and I'm madly in love with it, just got to wait for it to be delivered (it's professional kit, so special order!)

I'd best run and have a bath and a shave before taking Em to a TOP SECRET LOCATION for dinner tomorrow!

Happy Thing Day 3 [Dec. 26th, 2008|11:07 pm]
As I avoided my laptop yesterday, here is day 3 of OMG I HAPPY thingy.

Today I am happy as it was the family get together.. and my cousins had a Wii. Ahh the fun you can have with a wii. Sadly my burn started to scream in agony due to the constant tensing on my forearm... long story short, i ignored it and kept playing and it bled a fair bit.

Razzle Dazzle.. [Dec. 23rd, 2008|10:56 pm]
...my fantasmahgazzle.

Today what's making me happy is talking to Em about our christmas traditions, the order in which we do things, and quirks our families have.. It's all very nostalgic and "awwww".

Being able to laugh at yourself is important.

When you're me, you're laughing a lot.

Stoled from Sus [May. 22nd, 2008|10:30 pm]
Below are the top 106 books (why 106, she wonders?) most often marked as "unread" by LibraryThing’s users – in other words, they sit on the shelf to make you look smart or well-rounded. Bold the ones you've read, underline the ones you read for school, and italicize the ones you started but didn't finish.

Okay, then put an asterisk (*) by the ones you liked and would (or did) read again or recommend – even if you read 'em for school in the first place.
